Department Head - Special Projects

About the role

The Department Head will lead and oversee the planning, execution, and growth of specialized engineering projects in Kuwait. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role drives business development, ensures compliance with Kuwait Fire Force regulations, and strengthens client relationships while delivering innovative firefighting and engineering solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and expansion of specialized engineering projects.
• Drive business development and sales initiatives.
• Ensure full compliance with Kuwait Fire Force (KFF) regulations.
• Strengthen and maintain client relationships.
• Provide strategic leadership and manage departmental operations.
• Deliver innovative firefighting and engineering solutions tailored to the Kuwait market.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in Kuwait.
• Strong background in firefighting systems and knowledge of Kuwait's engineering market.
• Proven track record in sales, business development, and client relationship management.
• Hands‑on experience dealing with the Kuwait Fire Force (KFF) and related authorities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams, lead departmental operations, and deliver results.
• Valid residency/visa for Kuwait.
