Director – Client Relationships

About the role

The Director – Client Relationships will lead a portfolio of large corporate accounts, driving revenue growth while safeguarding credit quality. Reporting to the Unit Head, you will oversee a team of relationship managers and ensure high‑level service delivery across the bank’s product suite.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse client markets and financial statements to identify opportunities and risks.
• Originate new business, prepare term sheets, information memoranda and financial models, and negotiate and close deals.
• Collaborate with product and risk units to resolve credit, market and operational risk issues.
• Coach, develop and motivate team members to meet individual and team performance targets.
• Maintain credit quality, cross‑sell banking solutions and ensure timely account planning and documentation.
• Oversee KYC and AML compliance, adhere to internal policies, and produce accurate MIS reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related discipline (Master’s preferred).
• Extensive knowledge of the banking sector and corporate banking products.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong analytical and research capabilities.
