Director of Sales – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Director of Sales will lead the sales function for Jumeirah Messilah Beach, a luxury beachfront resort in Kuwait. Reporting to senior management, you will drive revenue growth by identifying high‑value opportunities and guiding a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, pursue and close high‑value sales opportunities while supporting the team to meet customer and partner needs.
• Develop and execute sales strategies, tactics and prospecting activities to achieve property targets and the overall Strategy 340.
• Lead major negotiations, support deal closures and convey the Jumeirah brand message.
• Monitor team performance, leverage data and cost‑of‑sale insights for informed decision‑making.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, influencers and internal stakeholders across departments and regions.
• Ensure sales systems, processes, policies and contracting frameworks enable effective selling and create value.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a Sales & Marketing Director role within hospitality or hotel management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales & Marketing or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Solid understanding of the Kuwaiti market.
