Dispatcher

About the role

We are looking for a reliable and organized Dispatcher to oversee the logistics of our restaurant’s delivery operations. In this fast‑paced environment you will coordinate daily delivery schedules, communicate with drivers and restaurant staff, and ensure that customers receive their orders on time.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily delivery routes for drivers.
• Communicate order details and any changes with restaurant staff to guarantee accuracy.
• Monitor traffic conditions and adjust routes to optimise delivery times.
• Resolve delivery‑related issues promptly and provide solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, driver performance and route efficiency.
• Assist in training new members of the dispatch team.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and food‑handling regulations.
• Deliver excellent customer service to drivers, staff and end‑customers.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a dispatcher or in a similar logistics role.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑moving environment.
• Detail‑oriented with a customer‑centric mindset.

Required skills

• Familiarity with GPS navigation.
• Experience using dispatching software.
