Duty Manager – Luxury Resort Operations

About the role

Our Habitas is seeking a dynamic, guest‑focused Duty Manager to lead daily operations at its luxury desert resort in Ras Abrouq. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be the operational leader on shift, ensuring seamless guest experiences and alignment with the brand’s philosophy of "luxury for the soul".

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day resort operations during assigned shifts, coordinating Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Wellness teams.
• Act as primary point of contact for guest inquiries, requests, and service recovery, delivering prompt resolutions.
• Conduct regular property walkthroughs to verify safety, cleanliness, and brand standards.
• Support Front Office functions including check‑in, check‑out, VIP arrivals, and special guest requests.
• Handle and resolve guest complaints professionally, ensuring high satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, security, and operational standards across all areas.
• Collaborate with department heads to maintain efficient communication and operational alignment.
• Monitor operational challenges and implement proactive solutions.
• Support emergency response procedures and maintain guest and staff safety.
• Prepare accurate shift reports and handover documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within luxury hospitality or resort environments.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent guest‑service orientation with a focus on personalized experiences.
• Ability to thrive in a remote desert setting and manage multiple departments simultaneously.
• Solid understanding of health, safety, and security protocols.
