Electrical Engineer – Construction Projects

About the role

Egis Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead electrical installations and ensure safety compliance on construction projects in Kuwait. You will act as the technical on‑site leader, coordinating with contractors and stakeholders to deliver high‑quality electrical infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect electrical installations, systems, and equipment throughout all construction phases to ensure compliance with design specifications and building codes.
• Analyze electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation to verify accuracy and identify potential issues before implementation.
• Coordinate with electrical contractors and subcontractors to schedule work, resolve technical challenges, and maintain project timelines.
• Conduct regular site inspections and testing of power distribution, lighting, fire safety, and emergency backup systems.
• Document all electrical work, inspections, and test results, maintaining comprehensive project records.
• Identify and address safety hazards, ensuring all personnel follow established safety protocols and regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of experience in construction site management as an Electrical Engineer.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, installations, power distribution, and safety standards.
• Proficiency with electrical design software and project management tools.
• Comprehensive understanding of building codes, electrical standards, and safety regulations, especially Kuwait‑specific regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and leadership skills.
