Electrical Engineer – Construction Projects (Kuwait)

About the role

Egis is seeking a detail‑oriented Electrical Engineer to join its Kuwait team. You will act as the technical leader on‑site, overseeing electrical installations and ensuring all work complies with design specifications, local building codes, and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect electrical installations, systems, and equipment throughout all construction phases.
• Analyse electrical drawings, blueprints and technical documentation to verify accuracy and pre‑empt issues.
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to schedule work, resolve technical challenges and keep project timelines.
• Conduct regular site inspections and testing of power distribution, lighting, fire‑safety and emergency backup systems.
• Document all electrical work, inspections and test results, maintaining comprehensive project records.
• Identify and mitigate safety hazards, ensuring compliance with Kuwait building codes and international standards.
• Communicate technical findings and recommendations to project managers, architects and other stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot on‑site electrical problems and implement corrective actions.
