Electromechanical Engineer

About the role

The Electromechanical Engineer will oversee the maintenance and optimal performance of advanced recycling and plastic processing equipment at our plant in Jahra. The role focuses on minimizing downtime, ensuring safety, and driving efficiency across all electromechanical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and automation systems.
• Operate and program PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, motors, drives, and control panels.
• Ensure smooth operation of recycling lines including washing, shredding, extrusion, and baling.
• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Support installation and commissioning of new plant machinery.
• Maintain ETP and utility systems in compliance with environmental standards.
• Promote safety and environmental compliance throughout the facility.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in recycling plants, plastic processing, or heavy industrial manufacturing.
• Strong troubleshooting ability in integrated electromechanical systems.
• Experience with advanced recycling machinery is a plus.
