About the role

The EMT Basic position is based in Kuwait and supports the WEXMAC operation for V2X. The role involves responding to fire and medical emergencies, providing on‑scene care, and ensuring safety education for staff and the public.

Key responsibilities

Respond to fire, medical, and related emergency calls, assess situations, and provide emergency care at the scene and during transport.
Educate staff and the public on fire safety and prevention, and perform routine fire department activities.
Communicate patient condition, status, and estimated arrival time to paramedics and the Medical Officer.

Required profile

Nationally registered EMT‑Basic with CPR/BLS and First Aid certifications.
Minimum two years of experience in an emergency health‑care setting and on an ambulance.
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
Physical capability to lift at least 100 lb and handle heavy equipment.

Required skills

Proficiency with medical equipment used for patient assessment and emergency care.
Computer, copier, and scanning skills, plus ability to learn new EMS inventory equipment.
