EMT Paramedic – Advanced Life Support

About the role

The EMT Paramedic provides Advanced Life Support (ALS), emergency medical response, patient assessment, stabilization, treatment, and medical transport for the Udari Range Complex and surrounding areas in Kuwait. This position supports 24/7 emergency readiness in a remote, austere environment, serving U.S. military personnel, contractors, civilians, and authorized staff.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver ALS emergency medical response, assessment, stabilization, treatment, and transport for authorized personnel at Camp Buehring, K‑Crossing and Udari Range Complex.
• Operate ambulances and emergency response equipment safely; provide trauma care, airway management, cardiac care, medication administration, and emergency stabilization within scope of practice.
• Coordinate patient transfers, support MEDEVAC operations, and maintain after‑hours emergency response readiness.
• Document patient care, maintain equipment and supplies, and participate in mass‑casualty planning and emergency preparedness exercises.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from an accredited Paramedic program.
• Minimum two years recent experience as a Paramedic, preferably in emergency services, trauma care, or critical‑care transport.
• Current NREMT Paramedic certification, unrestricted state/national license, BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS and trauma certifications preferred.
• Ability to work in remote, overseas, military or austere environments and meet all security, medical and credentialing requirements.
