Engineering Technician III – Quality Manager

About the role

The Engineering Technician III, Quality Manager is responsible for the overall quality system of the KAF Metrology Program. This position ensures compliance with ISO 17025 and drives continuous improvement across laboratory operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and implement the laboratory quality manual and quality system using KAF directives and standardized templates.
• Perform quarterly trend analysis and coordinate with KAF management, QA, laboratory supervisors, and technicians to resolve quality issues.
• Design and sustain a comprehensive QA program for the KAF Metrology Laboratory, including environmental control and primary standards development.
• Provide QA training and advisory support for complex precision measurement equipment used in GOK activities.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, physics or a related technical field from an accredited institution.
• At least ten (10) years of field experience in calibration or a related discipline, or twelve (12) years of calibration experience with extensive QA exposure.
• Demonstrated knowledge of calibration laboratory compliance and accreditation to ISO 17025.
