ENT Registrar

About the role

The ENT Registrar will work full‑time on‑site at New Mowasat Hospital, providing comprehensive ear, nose and throat care under senior specialist supervision. This position involves both outpatient and inpatient responsibilities, ensuring high‑quality patient management.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients with ENT conditions in outpatient clinics.
• Conduct daily inpatient rounds and respond to ENT consultations from the emergency department.
• Assist senior ENT surgeons during procedures and surgeries.
• Document patient encounters accurately in medical records.
• Provide pre‑operative and post‑operative care, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in departmental audits, clinical meetings and quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to hospital policies, infection‑control standards and patient‑safety protocols.

Required profile

• Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with completed internship.
• Postgraduate training or residency in Otolaryngology/ENT; board certification or eligibility preferred.
• Valid medical license to practice in Kuwait (or eligibility) and current BLS/ACLS certification.
• Experience in both outpatient and inpatient ENT care, including assisting in surgeries.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic and evidence‑based decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Team‑oriented, patient‑centered approach with commitment to continuous professional development and teaching.
