Equine Veterinarian – Prestigious Arabian Horse Operation

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Equine Veterinarian to deliver comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventive care for a prestigious Arabian horse operation. You will safeguard the health, welfare, and performance of breeding, training, and competition horses while supporting reproductive and herd‑health programs.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine, emergency, and preventive veterinary examinations.
• Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and medical conditions.
• Develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and conduct surgical procedures as needed.
• Manage vaccination, deworming, disease‑prevention, and biosecurity programs.
• Advise on nutrition, conditioning, rehabilitation, and overall health management.
• Oversee reproductive health, including breeding soundness exams, pregnancy diagnosis, fertility management, foaling support, and embryo transfer.
• Collect and interpret diagnostic samples, laboratory results, and imaging.
• Maintain accurate medical records and monitor recovery and rehabilitation.
• Assess fitness, soundness, and competition readiness.
• Collaborate with trainers, riders, farriers, nutritionists, and stable staff.
• Provide guidance during emergencies, disease outbreaks, and critical‑care situations.

Required profile

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent qualification.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on equine veterinary experience, preferably in breeding farms or performance facilities.
• Proven experience managing breeding, performance, and show horses.
• Strong clinical judgment and passion for equine welfare.

• Equine surgical techniques.
