Equipment Technician

About the role

The Equipment Technician ensures that all restaurant appliances operate smoothly, minimizing downtime and supporting high service standards. Working closely with kitchen and maintenance teams, you will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and contribute to a safe, efficient culinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment failures promptly.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on restaurant appliances.
• Install new kitchen equipment and systems.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Train staff on proper equipment use and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with vendors for equipment parts and services.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Equipment Technician or in a similar technical role.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment such as ovens, fryers, and refrigerators.
• Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
