Event Service Expert

About the role

The Event Service Expert joins Marriott’s Guest Event team to create memorable experiences for guests at banquets, conferences and special occasions. Working on‑site in Kuwait City, you will be responsible for the seamless execution of events from set‑up through breakdown, ensuring every detail aligns with Marriott’s high standards of hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and break down event spaces, including tables, chairs, linens, audio‑visual equipment and décor.
• Transport and organize supplies, ensuring timely delivery to event locations.
• Take guest orders, serve food and beverages, and respond to guest requests promptly.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all company policies and safety procedures.
• Handle objects up to 50 lb safely and efficiently without assistance.
• Collaborate with kitchen, banquet, and front‑of‑house teams to coordinate event flow.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Less than one year of related experience; no supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
• Strong commitment to professionalism, appearance and guest service.

Required skills

• Physical ability to lift, carry, push, pull and place items up to 50 lb.
• Basic knowledge of event set‑up procedures and hospitality standards.
