Events Coordinator

About the role

The British School of Kuwait is seeking an Events Coordinator to plan, organise, and deliver a diverse range of school events. This role will ensure each event aligns with the school’s brand, reputation, and values while providing a memorable experience for students, parents, and the wider community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute student, parent, and prospective‑parent events across the school calendar.
• Organise public PR activations in malls and external venues to enhance brand visibility.
• Lead graduation and other milestone celebrations, ensuring smooth delivery.
• Source, negotiate and manage vendors such as catering, AV, décor, venues and entertainment.
• Manage event budgets, track expenses and ensure cost‑effective delivery.
• Collaborate with school leadership, admissions, teaching staff and the MAC team to align events with marketing and admissions strategies.
• Oversee on‑the‑day setup, troubleshoot issues in real time and handle post‑event close‑out.
• Promote events via email, website, social media and WhatsApp, and manage RSVPs and attendee communications.
• Collect feedback, evaluate event success and produce reports with recommendations for improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in planning and executing events, preferably in an educational or corporate setting.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage external partners.
