Facilities & Maintenance Senior Officer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Facilities & Maintenance Senior Officer to lead the day‑to‑day operation, upkeep and safety of our company’s buildings and assets. The role ensures facilities meet the highest standards, coordinates preventive maintenance, manages vendors and supports improvement projects.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation and maintenance of all facilities, ensuring a safe, clean and efficient environment.
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, lighting, generators, elevators and other building systems.
• Conduct regular inspections, identify issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Coordinate repair, renovation and refurbishment projects while minimizing disruption.
• Manage external contractors and service providers, obtain quotations, evaluate performance and monitor service contracts.
• Ensure compliance with local health, safety and environmental regulations; conduct safety inspections and support emergency preparedness.
• Maintain accurate records of assets, equipment, maintenance history and inventory of supplies.
• Assist in preparing the annual facilities budget, monitor expenses and recommend cost‑saving measures.
• Prepare periodic reports on maintenance activities, vendor performance and operational issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management, building maintenance or property management.
• Professional certifications in Facilities Management, Health & Safety or Project Management are a plus.
