F&B Captain

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic F&B Captain to lead our restaurant floor during shifts, ensuring seamless service and memorable guest experiences. You will act as the bridge between guests and the service team, maintaining high standards of hospitality in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise restaurant floor operations to guarantee smooth and efficient service.
• Lead, motivate, and coach servers and wait staff while upholding grooming and etiquette standards.
• Greet guests, address requests, and resolve complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate table assignments, reservations, and service sequence with the host/hostess.
• Oversee mise‑en‑place, set‑ups, and side duties before and after service.
• Assist in training and developing junior colleagues for future growth.
• Monitor stock levels of chinaware, cutlery, and supplies, coordinating replenishment with supervisors.
• Enforce hygiene, safety, and HACCP standards across service areas.
• Support promotional activities, upsell items, and maximize revenue.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in Food & Beverage service, preferably in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Professional handling of guest concerns with diplomacy.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS systems.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
