About the role
The Field Sales Manager will lead and optimise sales operations for fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) across the territory. You will strengthen existing distribution channels, identify new market opportunities and ensure sustainable business growth.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse sales performance regularly and enhance distribution channels by monitoring product penetration.
- Stay updated on FMCG market trends, competitor products and pricing.
- Mentor and coach sales team leaders and key account executives through market visits and on‑the‑spot guidance.
- Review monthly sales versus forecast and competition, taking corrective actions with relevant departments.
- Assist senior managers in setting customer credit limits, discounts, and developing the overall sales plan.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including supermarkets and major institutions.
- Manage receivables, propose appropriate credit limits and payment methods.
- Support HR in defining career paths and development plans for high‑performing sales staff.
- Prepare and follow up on negotiations, contracts, incentives, and monthly sales reports.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in sales management within the FMCG sector.
