Financial Reporting Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Reporting Accountant to join ZADZAD’s finance team in Kuwait. Reporting to the Senior Finance Officer and the Manager/Controller, you will be responsible for turning reconciled ledgers into finished management and regulatory reports, freeing senior staff to focus on verification.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash position, variance analysis) for senior review.
• Compile supporting schedules for CMA/regulatory filings and audit requests, ensuring figures tie back to the ledger.
• Assist the external audit process and respond to first‑level auditor queries.
• Prepare consolidated Kuwait + UAE group accounts once UAE data is received each cycle.

Required profile

• Four to five years of experience in financial and statutory reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience working in an accounting firm or audit environment.
• Fluent English; Arabic language knowledge is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems such as Microsoft Dynamics or SAP.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Working knowledge of IFRS.
• CPA or ACCA qualification (or in progress) and experience with multi‑entity/group consolidation.
• Experience preparing regulatory filing schedules, preferably for the CMA.
