Footwear Designer – Tech Pack Design

About the role

The company is a footwear brand creating commercially relevant products for diverse markets in India and the GCC. The Footwear Designer – Tech Pack Design will translate design concepts into detailed, production‑ready tech packs and ensure accurate execution by suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Create complete footwear tech packs covering specifications, construction, materials, colourways, components, measurements, artwork, labeling, packaging and finishing requirements.
• Coordinate sample development with suppliers and internal teams, document feedback, track revisions and close technical gaps before production hand‑over.
• Review prototypes and samples against approved specifications, identify deviations and drive corrective actions to improve fit, appearance, function and manufacturing readiness.
• Maintain organized product records, version control and technical updates for all stakeholders.
• Contribute design solutions aligned with footwear trends, customer needs and regional market insights across India and GCC markets.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of footwear design or product‑development experience with proven tech‑pack creation.
• Detail‑oriented, able to balance creative vision with commercial priorities and communicate technical requirements clearly.
• Experience working with footwear factories, vendors or international teams is a plus.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Required skills

• Strong footwear tech‑pack creation skills (technical drawings, specifications, construction details, material callouts, colourways, measurements, artwork).
• Working knowledge of footwear construction, materials, sampling, fit review, manufacturing processes and quality‑control requirements.
• Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, PLM, CAD or comparable footwear product‑development tools.
