Front Desk Receptionist – Kuwait

About the role

The Front Desk Receptionist will be the first point of contact for guests at Al Kout Beach Hotel in Mangaf, Kuwait. Working full‑time on‑site, the role involves welcoming visitors, managing check‑in and check‑out procedures and handling reservations. The position requires close collaboration with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide a warm, professional welcome.
• Handle check‑in and check‑out processes efficiently.
• Manage room reservations and update the booking system.
• Answer telephone calls, respond to guest inquiries and relay messages accurately.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, food & beverage and other departments to fulfill guest requests.
• Maintain front‑desk records, process payments and issue receipts.
• Provide clear information about hotel services, facilities and local attractions.

Required profile

• Strong reception and clerical abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Reliable phone etiquette.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in the hotel industry.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and able to stay calm during busy periods.

Required skills

• Basic computer systems proficiency.
• Familiarity with hotel management software.
