Front Office Manager

About the role

The Front Office Manager leads all front office functions, overseeing bell staff, switchboard operations, guest services, front desk, and the retail/gift shop. This senior hospitality role ensures smooth guest arrival and departure processes while driving both guest satisfaction and financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Guest Services team, fostering trust, cooperation, and high performance.
• Manage day‑to‑day front office operations, ensuring service standards and guest expectations are consistently met.
• Set, monitor, and achieve performance, budget, and team goals for the department.
• Conduct regular department meetings and communicate clear objectives to staff.
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels to meet operational and financial targets.
• Control departmental expenses to stay within budget and support overall property financial goals.
• Oversee projects, policies, and procedures related to front office functions.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of guest services or front desk experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and act with integrity.
• Ability to perform duties of team members when needed and to recognize employee contributions.
