Full/Associate/Assistant Professor of Science Education

About the role

The American International University (AIU) in Kuwait seeks full‑time faculty members at the rank of Full Professor, Associate Professor, or Assistant Professor to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Science Education. The role involves curriculum development, student assessment, research, and community outreach within a vibrant, English‑medium academic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and deliver didactic, laboratory, and classroom instruction to promote student success.
• Develop and update course materials, assess learning outcomes, and provide timely feedback.
• Participate in curriculum review, accreditation activities, and program development.
• Engage in scholarly research, publish findings, and contribute to the School’s academic reputation.
• Provide academic advising, serve on departmental committees, and support community outreach initiatives.

Required profile

• PhD in Science Education.
• Proven excellence in teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Science Education.
• Record of research, publications, and professional achievements in relevant disciplines.
• Ability to meet AIU’s academic rank requirements for teaching, research, and scholarly output.
