General Manager – Signage & Fabrication

About the role

The General Manager will be responsible for the overall management, commercial performance, and operational effectiveness of the business, with full accountability for P&L, business growth, team performance, project delivery, and customer satisfaction. The role requires a hands‑on business leader with relevant experience in signage, printing, fabrication, advertising production, or a related project‑based environment. The General Manager will oversee the complete business cycle—from sales and client requirements through costing, production/fabrication, installation, delivery and project completion—while ensuring profitability, quality and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall business performance, including commercial, operational, production and financial results.
• Own and manage the P&L, covering revenue, gross margins, operating expenses and cash flow.
• Develop and implement business plans, budgets and growth strategies aligned with management objectives.
• Drive revenue growth by supporting business development, strengthening key client relationships and identifying new market opportunities.
• Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams across sales, design, production/fabrication, project execution, installation and support functions.
• Oversee projects from client enquiry through design, costing, production, installation and final hand‑over, ensuring profitability and quality.
• Monitor workshop operations, material consumption, productivity and operational costs, implementing measures to improve efficiency and margins.
• Maintain strong relationships with key clients, suppliers, subcontractors and service providers, and participate in commercial and technical discussions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, Production or a related discipline (preferred).
• Proven senior leadership experience as General Manager, Business Unit Manager, Operations Manager or similar in signage, fabrication, large‑format printing, advertising production or a closely related sector.
• Demonstrated ability to manage P&L, budgets, revenue, costs and margins.
• Strong understanding of project‑based production environments covering costing, materials, fabrication, finishing, installation and delivery.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering multiple projects with varying specifications, budgets and deadlines.
• Excellent commercial orientation, negotiation, decision‑making and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Good knowledge of the Kuwait market and an established local network is advantageous.
