General Support Specialist (Hotel Runner)

About the role

The General Support Specialist, also known as a Runner, ensures guests and associates receive what they need, when they need it, across all hotel departments. This full‑time position is based at our property on Fahd Al Salem Street in Kuwait City.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver items directly to guest rooms and support housekeeping, engineering, banquets, restaurants, and front office teams.
• Transport, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 55 lb without assistance.
• Navigate narrow, confined, elevated spaces, stairs, and service ramps safely.
• Read and verify information in various formats, including small print.
• Inspect tools, equipment, and machines visually before use.
• Maintain a safe workplace, follow company policies, and uphold confidentiality and quality standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience needed.
• No specific license or certification required.

Required skills

• Physical ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
• Capability to lift and maneuver items weighing up to 55 lb.
• Ability to read small print and visually inspect equipment.
