Geologist – 5‑Month Fixed‑Term in Kuwait

About the role

Rubius is looking for an experienced Geologist to join a 5‑month project in Kuwait. The role involves supporting geological and geotechnical studies through field investigations, data analysis, and report generation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide geological prognosis for pre‑drill wells.
• Perform well correlation and formation top picking with offset wells.
• Update structural framework and horizontal well correlation.
• Generate quick maps using well data.
• Conduct pore‑pressure analysis and field/well report analysis.
• Visit sites to verify surface locations for well planning.
• Analyze Daily Geological Reports (DGR) and mud‑log data.
• Assist in basic well planning by integrating subsurface and surface data.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Sciences or related field (Master’s preferred for senior roles).
• 10+ years of professional experience in geological fieldwork, exploration or environmental assessments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with geological software such as DSG, DS Petrophysics, Petrel or Techlog.
• Familiarity with databases like OpenWorks, EDM or Studio.
