Graduate Engineering Training Program – 9‑Month Internship

About the role

GE Vernova, in partnership with the Kuwait Fund, offers a nine‑month Graduate Engineering Training Program designed for recent engineering graduates. The program combines technical learning, hands‑on project work, and exposure to GE Vernova’s power‑generation operations across the region and in Kuwait.

Key responsibilities

• Complete a six‑month internship at a GE Vernova facility followed by a three‑month assignment at GEV KTC in Kuwait.
• Support engineering teams on projects related to power generation, mechanical and electrical systems, equipment, and processes.
• Participate in technical training, workshops, site activities, and practical learning assignments.
• Apply engineering fundamentals to real‑world tasks, including data analysis, tooling, and operational improvement.
• Present findings, progress, and recommendations throughout the program and during the final evaluation.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Strong interest in the power and energy industry and willingness to develop technical knowledge in power‑generation technologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and good analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary, multicultural teams and adhere to EHS, quality, and engineering practices.
