Heart of House Specialist – Kitchen Steward

About the role

The Heart of House Specialist (Kitchen Steward) ensures that the kitchen and related service areas of our Courtyard hotel are clean, organized, and ready for guests. Working full‑time on Al Shuhada Street in Kuwait City, you will support daily operations across the kitchen, food‑and‑beverage outlets and laundry by handling dishware, linens and cleaning equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, hand‑wash stations, and linen washers/dryers.
• Collect, transport and store dirty and clean dishware, cookware and linens throughout the hotel.
• Maintain spotless dining ware and kitchen surfaces in accordance with hygiene standards.
• Follow safety procedures, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and uphold uniform and appearance standards.
• Lift, carry, push or pull items up to 50 lb and stand or walk for extended periods.

Required profile

• No high‑school diploma or prior experience required.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and follow written procedures.
• Physical capability to bend, twist, reach overhead and lift moderate loads.
• Commitment to creating a safe workplace and delivering quality service.

Required skills

• Dishwashing machine operation.
• Linen washer and dryer operation.
