Hindi QA Lead – Remote

About the role

This remote, hourly contract position is for a Hindi Quality Assurance Lead who will oversee the quality and consistency of Hindi AI training data. You will work with a fast‑growing AI data services company, reviewing AI‑generated content, providing detailed feedback, and ensuring that all contributors meet the project’s quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review AI‑generated Hindi content and trainer/QA work against detailed rubrics.
• Provide precise written feedback in English on accuracy, fluency, grammar, tone, cultural appropriateness, and formatting.
• Identify recurring quality issues and communicate updates to trainers and QAs.
• Support onboarding of new contributors and maintain style guides, FAQs, trackers, and documentation.
• Monitor contributor activity, activate inconsistent workers, and maintain project dashboards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hindi, Linguistics, Translation, Communications, Journalism, Education, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
• Native or near‑native Hindi proficiency with strong reading and writing skills.
• Strong command of English for following guidelines and providing feedback.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Hindi writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, or related workflows.
• Deep knowledge of Hindi grammar, Devanagari script, spelling, punctuation, tone, and India‑specific cultural context.
• Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, or QAs is preferred.
