Home Care Nurse (MOH Licensed)

About the role

Thiqa Homecare is looking for a Home Care Nurse (MOH licensed) for a full-time, on-site position in Kuwait City. The nurse provides direct nursing care to patients in their own homes, working closely with patients and families to deliver safe, respectful and culturally sensitive care.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patient health status and administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Perform wound care and monitor vital signs
• Implement and follow individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on disease management and home care routines
• Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow Ministry of Health regulations and company protocols
• Visit patients at different locations and adapt to changing care needs

Required profile

• Valid MOH license to practice in Kuwait
• Recognized nursing qualification (e.g., Bachelor's or Diploma in Nursing) from an accredited institution
• Demonstrated experience in home care, including delivering services in patients' residences
• Previous experience in home health, community nursing or similar settings is highly beneficial
• Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams; basic English and Arabic is an advantage
• Reliability, empathy and the ability to work independently while following clinical guidelines

• Patient care: assessment, monitoring, education and support of patients and families
• Wound care, including dressing changes, infection prevention and monitoring healing progress
• Organizational skills, attention to detail and commitment to accurate clinical records and confidentiality
