Housekeeping Attendant

About the role

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and public areas in a hotel environment. Working under the supervision of the housekeeping team, you will ensure that all standards of performance and safety are consistently met to enhance guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Collect room keys and daily assignments, prepare the trolley and required equipment for efficient task execution.
• Clean and tidy guest rooms, replenish supplies and amenities according to hotel standards.
• Sanitize and restock bathrooms, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Arrange guest belongings neatly while performing room cleaning.
• Coordinate with valet service to handle guest laundry, dry‑cleaning or pressing requests.
• Maintain cleanliness of corridors, service pantries and other service areas.
• Report any maintenance issues to the Engineering Department promptly.
• Observe guest needs in public areas and rooms, providing courteous service.
• Adhere to environmental, health and safety policies throughout all duties.

Required profile

• Ability to follow supervisors’ instructions and hotel policies.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Customer‑focused attitude with a willingness to ensure guest comfort.
• Reliability in reporting maintenance concerns and handling guest items.
• Understanding of basic health, safety and environmental procedures.
