About the role

Taiba Hospital is seeking a dedicated Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Specialized Nurse to join its Nursing Services department. The role focuses on delivering personalized, physician‑aligned care plans for patients with IBD, ensuring safe administration of biologic and immunosuppressant therapies, and supporting patients throughout their treatment journey.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, monitor disease activity, and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer and monitor biologic therapies, manage flare‑ups, and support patients during remission phases.
• Provide education on treatment options, self‑management techniques, and lifestyle modifications.
• Coordinate care with gastroenterologists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless pre‑ and post‑procedure support.
• Maintain accurate documentation, adhering to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree meeting Kuwait MOH licensing requirements.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in gastrointestinal or digestive health nursing.
• Valid BLS certification; ACLS certification where applicable.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, multicultural hospital environment.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office.
