Information Technology System Developer

About the role

The Canadian College of Kuwait is seeking an Information Technology System Developer to design, develop, test and maintain software applications that support its academic and administrative operations. Reporting to the Manager of Information Technology, the role will work on‑site at the Al‑Naseem campus and collaborate with faculty, staff and students to translate business needs into reliable technology solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse functional and non‑functional requirements from various college departments.
• Design, code, test and deploy system enhancements and new applications.
• Maintain and improve existing academic and administrative systems.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders throughout implementation and operation phases.
• Participate in business process modelling and suggest improvements to increase service efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in developing and supporting enterprise‑level IT systems, preferably in an educational environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex processes into technical specifications.
• Excellent communication skills to work with both technical and non‑technical staff.
