Interior Designer – Residential, Commercial & Hospitality Projects

About the role

Zwayakw Interior Design & General Contracting seeks an experienced Interior Designer to lead high‑end residential, commercial and hospitality projects in Kuwait. You will be responsible for turning client visions into functional, aesthetically‑pleasing spaces from concept through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop creative interior concepts that meet client requirements, budgets and project goals.
• Create mood boards, material palettes and professional presentations.
• Prepare detailed space plans, furniture layouts and full interior design documentation.
• Produce accurate construction drawings for execution.
• Select and specify FF&E, finishes, lighting, materials and decorative elements.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site surveys, take measurements and monitor on‑site progress.
• Present design proposals to clients and ensure design intent is maintained during construction.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional interior design experience, with a strong portfolio of residential, commercial or hospitality projects.
• Excellent understanding of space planning, lighting, materials and detailing.
• Proven ability to prepare complete construction drawing packages.
• Familiarity with local construction methods, materials and Kuwait building regulations is a plus.
