Internal Auditor

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Internal Auditor to join our finance team. The role involves executing audit assignments in line with the approved audit plan, assessing internal controls, and recommending improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Perform internal audit assignments according to the approved audit plan under the guidance of the Team Leader.
• Review records, transactions, systems, and controls to ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and management directives.
• Collect, analyse, and document audit evidence to support findings and conclusions.
• Interview personnel and examine business processes to identify control weaknesses.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive audit working papers in line with internal audit standards.
• Identify audit findings, control deficiencies, operational risks and suggest process improvements.
• Draft audit observations and recommendations for review and assist in final audit report preparation.
• Conduct follow‑up reviews to verify implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Maintain confidentiality and perform duties with integrity, objectivity and professional skepticism.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant internal audit experience.
• Progress toward or possession of CIA certification is preferred.
