IT Manager – Banking Technology (Kuwait)

About the role

The IT Manager will lead end‑to‑end technology functions for the IBG Kuwait branch, partnering closely with the Head Office to remediate server vulnerabilities, review security and firewalls, and support a range of IT projects and compliance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the single point of contact for all regulatory meetings, submissions and engagements with the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) and external auditors.
• Lead branch‑related IT projects in coordination with the Head Office and local teams.
• Ensure timely remediation of end‑of‑life hardware and systems within budget.
• Maintain local systems and applications to meet CBK uptime and security requirements.
• Configure new hardware, manage migration windows, and install MDM for mobile devices.
• Prepare audit evidence, track remediation activities, and keep compliance documentation up to date.
• Raise change requests, apply patches, and resolve production bugs.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing and ensure disaster‑recovery environments are synchronized.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 + years of IT experience in Kuwait banking, with strong governance and operational knowledge.
• Proven ability to communicate with regulators, auditors and senior stakeholders.
• Experience in user access management, system integration testing and rigorous problem solving.
