IT Manager – Kuwait Branch

About the role

The IT Manager will lead end‑to‑end technology functions for the IBG Kuwait branch, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, modernising infrastructure and supporting key IT projects. The role works closely with the head office and local teams to deliver secure, reliable services.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the single point of contact for all regulatory meetings, submissions and engagements with the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) and external auditors.
• Lead branch‑related IT projects, hardware end‑of‑life remediation, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Maintain uptime of local systems in line with CBK requirements and manage high‑severity incidents.
• Configure new hardware, install mobile device management (MDM) solutions and support user access for new joiners.
• Prepare audit evidence, track remediation activities and ensure compliance documentation is up to date.
• Raise change requests, apply patches, and remediate production bugs.
• Ensure disaster recovery environments are synchronised and documented.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 + years of IT experience in the banking sector in Kuwait.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with user access testing, system integration testing and audit processes.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills.
