IT Project Manager

About the role

Menzies Aviation is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead end‑to‑end software development projects across the full Software Development Life Cycle. You will work with global stakeholders, technical teams and third‑party vendors to deliver high‑quality solutions on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and monitor software projects from initiation through deployment and post‑implementation support.
• Develop and maintain project artefacts such as schedules, budgets, risk registers, communication plans and status dashboards.
• Manage delivery using Agile, Scrum, Waterfall or hybrid methodologies, ensuring governance, change control and issue resolution.
• Coordinate releases, system integrations, User Acceptance Testing and production deployments while complying with architecture and security standards.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Developers, QA, DevOps and infrastructure teams to translate business requirements into successful solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or related field (MBA is a plus).
• 7–10 years of experience managing enterprise software development projects, including web, mobile, cloud and API initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on scope, schedule and budget in a global, multi‑vendor environment.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of SDLC and delivery methodologies: Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, hybrid.
• Understanding of software architecture, APIs, databases, cloud platforms and DevOps practices (CI/CD).
• Experience with software testing, systems integration and cloud‑based solutions.
• Project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master or Agile are highly desirable.
