Junior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our finance team at a leading travel agency in Hawally, Kuwait. The successful candidate will support day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensuring accurate processing of transactions and timely financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable entries, including invoicing, collections and reconciliations.
• Maintain and update financial records in the company’s accounting software.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Support the finance team with bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting queries and ensure compliance with internal policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a travel‑agency environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Residency transferable within Kuwait (18).

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience using accounting software.
