Laboratory Specialist (Oil & Gas)

About the role

The Laboratory Specialist will support Anton Oilfield Services Group’s on‑site energy management operations in Kuwait by conducting high‑quality laboratory testing and analysis of oil, gas, water and related process samples. This role ensures accurate results that drive safe and efficient production processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests, experiments and analyses following standard operating procedures.
• Conduct chemical testing and analysis of oil, gas, water and related process samples.
• Maintain, calibrate and verify laboratory equipment to guarantee reliable results.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with laboratory equipment and testing procedures.
• Keep accurate laboratory records, test results and documentation.
• Stay updated on advancements in laboratory technologies and industry best practices.
• Perform additional laboratory duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Petrochemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in laboratory testing, chemical analysis and sample preparation within the oil & gas or petrochemical industry.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory testing procedures, quality control and safety standards.
• Proven ability to maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
