Laundry Manager

About the role

The Laundry Manager is responsible for overseeing the laundry department of a Hilton hotel, ensuring an excellent guest and member experience through efficient operations, stock control, and supplier management.

Key responsibilities

• Run laundry department operations to deliver high‑quality service.
• Manage, train and develop the laundry team.
• Order and control linen and housekeeping supplies in line with business and event needs.
• Control monthly stock levels, conduct stock takes and minimise losses.
• Manage weekly stock ordering to maintain par levels.
• Raise purchase orders according to forecasts and reconcile invoices.
• Handle customer service issues promptly and effectively.
• Liaise with suppliers to secure quality products at acceptable costs.
• Manage forecasts, budgets and capital equipment requests.
• Ensure team compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Perform any other reasonable tasks set by hotel management.

Required profile

• Previous experience in the hotel or leisure sector (preferred).
• Prior supervisory or managerial experience (preferred).
• Ability to work under pressure with strong communication skills.
• Accountable, resilient and organized.

Required skills

• IT proficiency.
• Excellent organisational and planning abilities.
