Líder de Portafolio CA&C

About the role

BASF is looking for a Portfolio Leader for its Crop Protection & Crop (CA&C) business. The role will manage the full portfolio lifecycle, define pricing strategies, ensure profitability and market positioning, and drive the achievement of financial targets such as net sales, gross margin and market share.

Key responsibilities

• Develop annual crop plans for CA&C, aligned with regional strategies and coordinated with KAMs, DMs and Market Access teams.
• Lead portfolio profitability initiatives by defining positioning and pricing strategies per crop and country.
• Design price‑list structures, discount schemes and loyalty programmes for distributors and sub‑distributors.
• Maintain accurate data in ERP, Chronos and Hub systems to support execution.
• Monitor performance indicators and adjust strategies to meet business objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in portfolio or product management within agriculture or crop protection.
• Strong analytical and commercial mindset with the ability to work cross‑functionally.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in Spanish; English is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to drive pricing and profitability initiatives.
