Lifting Supervisor for Refinery & Petrochemical Projects

About the role

The Lifting Supervisor will oversee rigging, lifting and heavy erection activities on refinery, petrochemical and oil & gas construction sites in Kuwait. Working Monday to Saturday (10:00 AM – 5:00 PM), you will ensure that all lifting operations are performed safely, efficiently and in compliance with project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise all rigging and lifting tasks on site.
• Verify that lifting equipment and accessories are inspected, certified and suitable for the intended loads.
• Monitor compliance with safety standards, company procedures and client requirements.
• Collaborate with site engineers, subcontractors and project managers to schedule lifting operations.
• Prepare lifting plans, risk assessments and method statements.
• Lead on‑site teams, provide guidance and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in rigging, lifting and heavy erection on refinery, petrochemical or oil & gas construction projects.
• Experience in offshore and on‑shore environments is preferred.
• Prior work in the Gulf region and/or with Korean engineering firms is an advantage.
