Local Procurement & Sourcing Specialist – Food & Non-Food

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Local Procurement & Sourcing Specialist to join our team in Kuwait. The role focuses on identifying and developing local suppliers, negotiating competitive terms, and supporting sales and operations with reliable purchasing solutions across food and non‑food categories.

Key responsibilities

• Source and develop new local suppliers throughout Kuwait.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms and supplier agreements.
• Build and maintain relationships with manufacturers, distributors and wholesalers.
• Source products across Food, FMCG, HORECA, Packaging, Cleaning & Hygiene, Coffee Equipment, Machinery and other categories.
• Obtain and compare quotations to secure best commercial value.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Warehouse and Cash Van teams to ensure product availability.
• Identify new products and market opportunities continuously.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules and product quality.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of procurement or purchasing experience.
• Strong knowledge of the Kuwait supplier market.
• Experience in FMCG, food distribution, HORECA or wholesale preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple suppliers and product categories.
• Valid Kuwait driving licence preferred.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Experience with ERP systems (advantageous).
