Machine Operator – Bottling & Labeling

About the role

Arwa Gulf Company, the leading water bottling producer in Kuwait, is looking for a full‑time Machine Operator to work in its modern bottling plant located in the Kuwait City metropolitan area. The operator will run and monitor high‑speed bottling and labeling equipment to ensure safe, efficient production of Aqua Cool water products.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, configure and operate high‑speed bottling and labeling machines according to daily production schedules.
• Load label rolls, adjust machine components for different bottle sizes (330 ml, 500 ml, 1.5 L) and ensure correct label design matches each batch.
• Continuously inspect labels for alignment, adhesion, date/batch code legibility and overall appearance, isolating any defects.
• Monitor consumables such as labels and adhesives, maintaining a steady supply.
• Perform routine maintenance – cleaning glue rollers, clearing sensors, lubricating parts – and troubleshoot minor mechanical or software issues to minimise downtime.
• Record production output, machine settings, downtime events and material usage; report waste and scrap metrics.
• Follow HACCP and GMP hygiene and safety procedures, keeping the workstation clean and hazard‑free.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating automated packaging or labeling machinery, preferably in water, beverage or food manufacturing.
• Familiarity with high‑speed rotary labelers, linear labelers, sleeve applicators and hot‑melt glue systems.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and using hand tools during changeovers.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle material loading.
