Major Item Repairer – Kuwait

About the role

The Major Item Repairer (MIR) will provide in‑depth system knowledge and troubleshooting expertise for Patriot missile system Major End Items (MEI) in Kuwait. The role involves day‑to‑day execution of the Kuwait Patriot TA program, performing depot‑level diagnostics, fault isolation, cleanup and repair of electronic and mechanical components.

Key responsibilities

• Execute diagnostic, fault isolation, and repair of Patriot Weapon System MEIs on site.
• Provide logistics support, parts provisioning, analysis, and data guidance for MEI maintenance.
• Track parts, incorporate them into Next Higher Assemblies and maintain baseline configuration control.
• Coordinate creation of Bill of Materials (BOM) with hardware, maintenance and other functions.
• Utilise all hardware and software tools for Organizational and Intermediate Maintenance.

Required profile

• Active Secret DoD security clearance on day 1 (U.S. citizen or U.S. person).
• Successful completion of a Patriot System Intermediate Maintenance Course (MOS 27X/94S/140L/916A).
• Minimum 48 months of relevant experience in defense equipment maintenance and logistics.
