Market Development Executive – Kuwait

About the role

Amalfi Foods is seeking a proactive, commercially driven Market Development Executive to represent the brand in Kuwait. The role works closely with the appointed distributor to ensure visibility over sales performance, customer development, retail execution, and market opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and follow‑up with the distributor to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
• Identify new customers, channels, and growth opportunities, supporting retail account openings.
• Conduct regular store visits to monitor product availability, shelf positioning, pricing, promotions, merchandising, and competitor activity.
• Track sales performance by customer, SKU, and channel; develop corrective actions for under‑performing accounts.
• Monitor distributor inventory, stock ageing, returns, and expiry risks; support stock rotation and replenishment planning.
• Provide monthly sales forecasts, coordinate market requirements with headquarters, and communicate upcoming promotions and launches.
• Gather market intelligence on pricing, promotions, packaging, new product launches, and consumer trends; deliver regular reports and recommendations.

Required profile

• Proactive and commercially driven mindset.
• Strong understanding of the Kuwait FMCG market.
• Comfortable working independently and in the field.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with distributors, retailers, and key customers.
• Analytical approach to sales monitoring and market intelligence.
