Mechanical Engineer – Maintenance & Reliability (Kuwait)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead maintenance activities for our oilfield operations in Kuwait. The role focuses on ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and efficiency within a dynamic industrial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administer requisitions for maintenance materials, spare parts, tools, and equipment.
• Supervise and coordinate maintenance personnel to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Maintain equipment history, maintenance records, and performance trend data.
• Prepare and submit daily maintenance and operational reports.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with maintenance procedures, safety standards, and engineering best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of mechanical maintenance experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Industrial sectors.
• At least 5 years in a supervisory or maintenance leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment maintenance, asset reliability, and preventive maintenance practices.
• Experience managing maintenance materials, spare parts, and equipment records.
• Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
