Mechatronics Engineer / Instrumentation Engineer – Oil & Gas

About the role

We are seeking experienced Mechatronics and Instrumentation Engineers to join our team in Salmiya, Kuwait, working on oil & gas projects. The successful candidates will be responsible for the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of safety shutdown valve systems, control panels, and flow measurement equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, wire, test, troubleshoot, and commission safety shutdown valve (SSV) systems and control panels.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs, and wiring diagrams.
• Install, calibrate, and maintain flow meters and flow measurement systems.
• Service electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic valve actuators.
• Conduct field inspections, diagnostics, preventive and corrective maintenance at oil & gas facilities.
• Prepare service reports, calibration records, and technical documentation.
• Provide technical support to customers and coordinate with project and service teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in oil & gas projects.
• Hands‑on experience with safety shutdown valve systems and industrial automation.
• Proven ability to work on‑site and adhere to HSE and client specifications.
